Freelance Writing, Illustrating, & Design: 2013 - Ongoing

I welcomed my first foster kiddo home at the beginning of 2022. By the end of the year, we were moved to medical unit within DCFS for his health needs and I scaled work back to smaller design and writing work to meet his needs. I have had the extraordinary honor of being an “As Long As You Need” mom to five kiddos and am recently turned adoptive mom to that first bambino who is now thriving. Below are a few projects I’ve worked on.

Grand Winner of the 2022 Sony Talent League

Our project “Knowhere, U.S.A” was selected as the 2022 Grand Winners of the Sony Talent League - an international competition for innovative ideas across mediums. My pilot script and our mobile game concept was nurtured by industry greats like Shuhei Yoshida, Kevin Young, Scot Stafford, and Sally Slade. Peter Ramsey, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, call the project “actually groundbreaking”.
